Settle Down-Kimbra
The first single from my favorite new discovery of the year
a fun little kind of Bjork esque tale of the desires of one gorgeously talented
females desire to settle down with her one and only. It’s a very interesting
tune that kind of makes one have to give it a second listen because while I can
personally come up with an immediate comparison it’s a tune that alternative
radio lacked for the past few years and ended up being the most refreshingly
natural thing to come along in a while.
Admittedly this isn’t what introduced me to the beauty of
one Kimbra it is the tune that showed me that there was more to be aware of and
oh was I glad that I gave it all a shot.
