Here’s another tune that I recall seeing on my local
alternative stations Mail Bag segment on their facebook page where they
highlight different songs that studio’s have sent out and ask for consumer
feedback so they can know if they should play it or not and in all honesty I
don’t really recall ever actually hearing this at any point after seeing it on
that page and that seems kind of odd because this song seems to have the
potential upon my re-listening of it to be something I’d assume would have
picked up.
This Dotan guy is the kind of hushed voice almost Hozier
level spiritual sounding singer that also sounds kind of like Jose Gonzolaez
and this song is a very marching little number with a very clap heavy jangling
beat and some choral elements to give it this echoing sound that’s pretty cool
which are all things that you’d expect especially when you hear groups like Of
Monsters and Men doing it big but upon further review this song is just kind of
sitting around only really being a thing in the Netherlands which is odd but
hey if you haven’t heard it I figure this is a good place to start cause this
dude seems alright.
