Believe-Mumford and Sons
So I’m just not going to lie this band achieving mainstream
success and proceeding to make the same god damn boring ass song a hundred
times over kind of depleted all fucks I have for these guy’s but even with that
in mind upon noticing the teaser clips for this song had absolutely no banjo’s
or acoustic instrumentation left me interested and upon the song coming out I
actually don’t dislike it that much.
Now there’s a kind of late 80’s U2 vibe that this song is
very heavily projecting in it’s very hallow mildly electronic parts before this
edge sounding echoing electric guitar comes in to give everything a larger more
rock feel that kind of pulls you into something that sounds larger then it’s
fairly uninspired and boring lyrics sugguest.
All in all it’s a good song that’s kind of lacking in one
department only to really satisfy in another so it’s a good start son.
