Bloody Mary-Silversun Pickups
In a very Pumpkins-esque stylistic shift this rift roaring
act of mildly psychadellic hard rockers have come back with a very
electro-tinged cut that’s both dreamy and amazing. I’m not sure just what it is
about this song that I just love so much but the experience of getting to see
it live and really coming to the realization that these guys have modeled their
career after the Smashing Pumpkins is something that’s becoming less and less
difficult to deny.
Here we have these wonderfully high tinged vocals truly
reaching those tripped out heights of perfection over a beat that’s steady but
light as a feather. The most wonderfully groan along tune of the year.
